About Sanctu_Net
Sanctu_Net is a long-term home mesh network project focused on privacy and designed for digital sovereignty, decentralized routing, and a self-healing network. Its purpose is to protect human freedom and privacy. It requires manual configuration.
PoC Architecture
Concept Overview:
Layered Breakdown:
Core Ideas:
- Mesh-style Routing: Nodes can dynamically act as clients or relays ("Czars") in a decentralized overlay.
- CarouselSW: Rotating routing logic that refreshes routes periodically to resist profiling.
- Blockchain-based Auth: Lightweight, file-based identity layer for node authentication. (to consider)
- Tor/ICMP Failover: Optional hidden service routing fallback when WAN is unstable.
Each component is tested in a VirtualBox LAN environment first, using a mix of Bash, Lua scripts and OpenVPN/WireGuard . The end goal is a WAN-ready sovereign networking setup with full control and no additional external dependencies.
Status Checklist (LAN/WAN):
- Auto script Ping & Route- (LAN) : [✓]
healCheck.lua- Forwarding Packets thru IPTABLES- (LAN): [✓]
- Tested on BV environment- (LAN): [✓]

- Manual routing via Matrix/IRC ops: [ ]
- Tor fallback & ICMP-based failover: [ ]
- OpenVPN/WireGuard bridge: [ ]
- Tested on parts of WAN: [ ]
